2. What we do

Injury Support Services provides information, guidance and support pathways for people affected by injury.

Depending on your circumstances, we may help you explore access to legal support, rehabilitation services, case management, advocacy, welfare support or other relevant services.

We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Where legal advice is required, this will be provided by a solicitor or other suitably qualified legal professional.

We are not a medical provider and we do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Any medical or rehabilitation advice should be provided by an appropriately qualified professional.

3. Use of this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not use this website in a way that:

  • breaches any applicable law or regulation;
  • is fraudulent, harmful or misleading;
  • interferes with the operation or security of the website;
  • attempts to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or connected systems;
  • copies, scrapes or reuses website content without permission.

We may restrict or withdraw access to the website where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

4. Information on this website

The information on this website is provided for general guidance only.

It should not be treated as legal, medical, financial or professional advice. You should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional before making decisions based on your individual circumstances.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current or free from errors.

5. Enquiries submitted to us

You may contact us through this website, by email, by telephone or through another enquiry route.

When you submit an enquiry, you agree that we may use the information you provide to consider your enquiry and respond to you.

You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a solicitor-client relationship, a medical provider relationship, or any guarantee that you will be accepted by a solicitor, rehabilitation provider or other professional service provider.

6. Referrals and introductions

Where appropriate, we may introduce you to a solicitor, rehabilitation provider, case manager, welfare organisation or another relevant professional service provider.

Any provider we introduce you to is responsible for explaining their own services, terms, charges, duties and responsibilities.

You are not required to proceed with any provider we introduce, and any decision to instruct or use a provider is your own.

7. Solicitor panel and payment arrangements

We work with a panel of solicitors and professional service providers.

Our panel of solicitors pay us for our operational services and marketing costs. These costs are not passed on to our clients.

Where you are introduced to a solicitor, they will explain any funding arrangement, legal costs, success fee, insurance arrangement or deduction that may apply before you decide whether to proceed.

8. No guarantee of outcome

We cannot guarantee that:

  • your enquiry will be accepted by a solicitor or provider;
  • you will be eligible for a claim or support service;
  • a legal claim will succeed;
  • rehabilitation, support or treatment will be available or suitable;
  • any particular outcome will be achieved.

Any assessment of your case or support needs will depend on the facts, evidence and professional judgement of the relevant provider.
